Title: VOTE: Team Princess Twinkle Toes Tshirts
Description: Let's try again...
letiticious - September 9, 2007 04:05 PM (GMT)
Members, staff and guests! Jolene will
not screw up this time!
Right, as you may have noticed Tish fans, it is strongly rumoured that Tish is to be announced in the line up of this year's Strictly Come Dancing on Thursday.
In an effort to do something for the wonderful cause that is Childreen In Need, IAL ladies have hit upon the fabulous idea of charity t-shirts/ (Massive  to Kate for our fabulous logo!) In support of Tish's probable new found dancing days, we have unofficially become
Team Princess Twinkle Toes!
There will deliberately be no SCD information printed on these t-shirts as we would like to remain Team princess Twinkle Toes as fans of Tish for a long time. These are basic yet gorgeous designs that will subtlely let anyone know who your favourite dancing Princess is!
But we need
your help in selecting a style.
We are all very pink girlies, but think the silveryness of our logo would show up fantastically in black - so we are allowing you two votes a piece as we are expecting to end up distributing t-shirts in both colours!
So should Team Princess Twinkle Toes wear:
Black options
Black tee
Black vest top
Black tank top
Pink options
Soft pink V neck t-shirt
Hot pink V-neck t-shirt
Prices and such have not yet been confirmed, as the company will offer bulk discount (but there is a £2 charge per top should we want to put anything on the back.
The final price will also include a fixed donation to Children in Need, so please, take a good look, and get voting!
Any comments/suggestions welcomed by all!
Love,
Team Princess Twinkle Toes :wub:NOTE TO ALL VOTERS Votes will be counted as final by Thursday the 13th (the day Tish should be confirmed as an SCD contestant :buzzing:) Then Laura and admin will be seeking payment for the first bulk order of the most popular vote from anyone seeking to purchase a top!
Laura - September 9, 2007 04:12 PM (GMT)
Eeeek so final! Now I am such a lover of Pink ( The darker version) and I think it would be much more noticeable if we were to go to SCD, but like you ladies said, if we were planning on wearing these another time, then maybe Black is the better option.
Jo, do they not do the Black in a V-neck top? :( I love V-necks rather then normal T-shirts and Vest Tops
If not, I'd go for the Black Tank Top! :yay:
Kate - September 9, 2007 04:15 PM (GMT)
Do they not do the pink tank top? I've voted both sleeveless black ones but hey  I don't like t-shirts, but I think if we could get a pink tank top I may buy that :lalala:
letiticious - September 9, 2007 04:17 PM (GMT)
Tank tops are only available in white or black so :nono: Sorry!
letiticious - September 9, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
I've just seen the black tank top is apparantly "for him" as opposed to the white (where the logo doesn't show all that well) being for "her" - shall we discredit from the vote to level out the black options or do we just agree to order in small sizes? :confused2:
Kate - September 9, 2007 04:33 PM (GMT)
The body on the black tank top has hips and boobs  :yay: :yay: or did they model it on today's man? I think they're female
kel - September 9, 2007 04:42 PM (GMT)
Ohhh I love the Hot Pink one but I think the silver logo will show up better on the black ones especially if we do go to SCD and you've got the lights shining on them ^_^
Hannah - September 9, 2007 04:44 PM (GMT)
I'm not buying anything that isn't pink :lalala: Pink things are the best.
letiticious - September 9, 2007 04:49 PM (GMT)
I have e-mailed the company asking firstly is there is actually any difference between the tanks tops and what discount a bulk order of 20 (so get 'em while they're hot ladies!) will entitle us too.
Don't forget your donation to CIN will also be included in your price and if you are interested in buying a t-shirt (they should cost a little less as we have decided not to put anything on the back!) you need to be willing to have full payment on the way to Laura ASAP so she can cover our costs and we can hopefully have our t-shirts in time for the event of any of us making it to SCD! :knod:
Laura - September 9, 2007 05:00 PM (GMT)
What's the methods of payment on the website Jo? :baffled:
letiticious - September 9, 2007 05:04 PM (GMT)
Visa or Mastercard, but they say you can pay by cheque, so I asked about that in the email just in case :knod:
Laura - September 9, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
Oh and another question ...
Just say, the two highest votes are Pink and Black ... are we gonna allow to buy two different colours? As I'm thinking I'd like the Pink V, Black Tank and
I'm thinking the Pink V for Tish in with the Good Luck card? :baffled: ( do tell me what we think Tish would prefer! ( not that she'd wear it .. but who knows ... when she's doing the hoovering) yeah, colour? )
letiticious - September 9, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
With Laura's permission, I am running this vote over at Letiticious to add some numbers to the final vote
letiticious - September 9, 2007 05:14 PM (GMT)
I think we should buy a black and pink option. I told the company we'd qualift for bulk discount cos we'd want 20... I wonder if discount still applies if we... bought ten pink and ten black at the same time> That makes sense doesn't it? :confused2:

Yeah that's what I was wondering, because I'm finding it hard to choose which one I'd prefer to actually wear!
Kate - September 9, 2007 05:44 PM (GMT)
Save a black one for me ^_^ I can't wait to wear it  I hope we get chance to wear them all as a group :D :knod:

Yes indeed!
 Then, Tish will definately know the Team Princess Twinkle Toes! :lalala: :buzzing:
letiticious - September 9, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
Shall we agree in principle to just buy ten of each to make up a bulk order?
Laura - September 9, 2007 05:50 PM (GMT)
I suppose. The one's that we dont sell or what not can be given to Jason and Nigel or put in a competition or something. I dunno! Just spares!
letiticious - September 9, 2007 05:54 PM (GMT)
Well, without the discount, 10 pink ones and ten black ones including UK shipping works out as £13 a t-shirt... with the say, £5 donation on top, but seeing as they'd get sent to Laura as our boss, will you be wanting to add £ for postage? It's gonna work out (before probably discount :P) as £20 a t-shirt - a unique, gorgeous Tishiefied t-shirt - so are we willing guys and girls? :lalala:
Bulk is 15 or over actually, so if we ordered 16, ie, 8 of each, that'll drive the cost down a bit more and then we can see what we've got left/in what kind of numbers we need to order more in! :P
Laura - September 9, 2007 05:59 PM (GMT)
So is the site American then? Will they all need to be shipped over?! :baffled:
Kate - September 9, 2007 06:04 PM (GMT)
I'd shop around if I was you, that's well pricey...
letiticious - September 9, 2007 06:07 PM (GMT)
It's multinational Laura - they have a UK site - and will charge £9 shipping for a whole order - so between 20 of us, that doesn't amount to anything, but you need to add the CIN donation to every total, and seeing as you as the Boss will be the one that recieves them all, you'll be the one sending them out to the team - and I don't think we can ask you to cover that cost out your own pocket - although I think you should just fold them into Jiffy bags and send them as cheap as you can! :knod:
Laura - September 9, 2007 06:07 PM (GMT)
I do have the day off tomorrow so I can have a look around and head into a printers anyway. Only I'd be a little worried if we have to have them shipped over. At least if they were done in the UK we can pick them up without paying delivery charge.
EDIT: just read the above post. Ignore mine!
Kate - September 9, 2007 06:10 PM (GMT)
I've just used my common sense :o these are t-shirts, and they're going to be worn over autumn/winter. Hardly practical  I've found a site that does hoodies of all colours for £19 and that's just one, in bulk they should be cheaper, and it's free shipping in the UK. :P
letiticious - September 9, 2007 06:11 PM (GMT)
I'd rather have a t-shirt - I hardly ever wear hoodies and wouldn't feel Princess like at all!
Laura - September 9, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
I think I'd prefer a T-shirt as I'd always take my jacket/hoodie off indoors. ( Ie, if I was going a theatre or somesort)
Kate - September 9, 2007 06:14 PM (GMT)
But we're gonna have to freeze our arses off to show the support  Ignore me anyway :lalala:
I was just looking at your designs again, do they actually take the white background off it when they print it?
Hannah - September 9, 2007 06:15 PM (GMT)
Hoodies? We're not ALL chavs :lalala:
Put a jacket over it or a cardie or something!
& There's a little thing yeah, It's called central heating :lalala:
letiticious - September 9, 2007 06:16 PM (GMT)
White background Kate? I know what you're talking about but I don't see one...
Hannah - September 9, 2007 06:17 PM (GMT)
Ignore her, She's talking rubbish :lalala:
They probably integrate it into the main background colour of the T-shirt I'd have thought.
Laura - September 9, 2007 06:19 PM (GMT)
The hardest thing about doing them online is its a waiting game with a reply! :yay:
Hannah - September 9, 2007 06:20 PM (GMT)
They'll probably be pretty prompt. Hopefully. Everyone's different, Recently I dealt with a company who'd email me back literally as soon as I sent an email, But some just leave you hanging
I want a pink one!

I do too ( mainly because I like V-necks! and of course, its Pinky! & Tish likes mad colours! :lalala:
I want a black too! :lalala: I'm so glad I'v been saving lately!
letiticious - September 9, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
Well we could just buy bog standard vest tops and the like and then get them printed (was that your plan Laura?) I just think it would be easier this way. We shouldn't be too hung up over the price (we don't know what the discount is yet :P) cos it's for Tish/for charity and to make us unique and fab all in one - and believe me, £20 isn't bad to have all that rolled into one given some of the prices I've seen on the net today :nono: I don't just want a white tee, I want a top with colour and shape!
Hannah - September 9, 2007 06:26 PM (GMT)
Plus I ain't worn a tank top since I was 11 :lalala:
Kate - September 9, 2007 06:27 PM (GMT)
No, there's no white background on the designs but I was just on another site messing around with some and it was a white square on it...
Do you think it could be cheaper to buy iron on transfer paper [£1 a sheet at Staples, but it might be cheaper elsewhere :confused2: ] and buy plain t-shirts? You can get them for like £2 in Primark or H&M or somewhere

I'm not contradicting your fine work Ms jolene. I'm not complaining at all, and like you, I'd like abit of ... glitz/glamour.
That's what the lady exploits!
Hannah - September 9, 2007 06:29 PM (GMT)
£20 isn't bad for a t-shirt. :nono: I've paid way more than that for t-shirts before. And this is a special t-shirt :lalala:

Indeed my mum said the same. Seeing as it's a one off T-shirt, and you know that its 'your's which you made', you dont mind paying a little bit extra! :knod:
Oh I dunno what I'm saying!! :yay:
